Program: Eightmate Messages · Operator: PINDOM LLC B (operator of Eightmate) · Last updated: July 2026

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of using Eightmate. We never send marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to cancel, HELP for help.

What we text

This program sends three kinds of SMS messages, each with its own separate opt-in:

Who is texting you

Bebert is the AI character inside the Eightmate app. When Eightmate texts you, the words come from Bebert, the same character you talk to in the app. PINDOM LLC B operates Eightmate, and Bebert is the character users talk to. Every message comes from the number assigned to your account, and the first message you receive identifies the program.

What we never text

No marketing. No promotions. No cold outreach. Every message this program sends exists because you signed in, set something up, or invited the conversation. We do not text anyone who hasn't created an account and entered their own number, and we never buy, rent, or import phone lists.

How opt-in works

  1. You enter your own number. The only way a phone number enters Eightmate is you typing your own number on the app's sign-in screen at app.eightmate.ai. Directly under the phone field, at the point of collection, the screen states the message types, that consent is not a condition of service, that message and data rates may apply, that frequency varies, the STOP and HELP keywords, and links to this policy, the Terms, and the Privacy Policy. Requesting the code is express consent to receive that one code, and nothing more.
  2. Texting with your mates requires its own separate opt-in. Texting with your mates, including any check-in where Eightmate reaches out first, is offered inside the app as a plain question with a visible decline. Nothing is pre-checked. A "no" changes nothing about the service, and a "yes" can be reversed at any time in settings or by replying STOP.
  3. Confirmation. When you opt in to recurring messages, we send one confirmation text stating the program name, that frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and the STOP/HELP keywords.

Because Eightmate is an installed app and its permission screens sit behind sign-in, we publish the exact screens here, so anyone can check that the flow above is real without creating an account.

The in-app consent card (nothing pre-checked; disclosures at the point of collection):

The in-app consent card: 'can i text you too?' with yes and no buttons, the optional note, and the STOP/HELP disclosure

The confirmation text sent after tapping yes:

The confirmation SMS: You're in! Bebert from eightmate.ai may text you now, with frequency, rates, HELP and STOP disclosures

Sample messages

Sign-in code Eightmate: your sign-in code is 481922. It expires in 10 minutes. Never share this code. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
A reminder you set Eightmate: reminder you set: pick up the dry cleaning at 5pm. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
A check-in you invited Eightmate: morning! You mentioned the big interview is today. How are you feeling about it? Reply STOP to opt out.

How opt-out works

Reply STOP to any message. We will send one final text confirming you are unsubscribed, and nothing further. You can also turn any message type off in the app's settings. Opting out of texts never affects your account; everything keeps working in the app.
